Milano Art Community is pleased to announce its participation in the Milan Art Week 2023 (11 – 16 April)
From 11 to 16 April 2023 during Miart, the international modern and contemporary art fair, Milan lights up with culture through a rich calendar of events and openings that make Milan Art Week one of the most important weeks for the city.
The members of Milano Art Community will also participate in the Milano Art Week by presenting SOTTOTRACCIA (April 10 – 16), an essay of video art that infiltrates urban life, transforming the Milanese underground network into an exhibition space.
Twenty-one video artworks signed by internationally renowned artists – including Simone Forti, Simon Fujiwara, Eva Marisaldi, Diego Perrone – and selected by some of the most interesting contemporary art galleries and foundations, will ‘hack’ the screens of the Metro
system, infiltrating news and advertisement and giving life to an itinerant exhibition.
The goal is to bring the city of Milan and its visitors closer to the world of contemporary art by using the narrative and suggestive power of video language.
The project is realized in collaboration with UpTv, the new television channel of Telesia, Gruppo Class Editori.
Milano Art Community’s platform and SOTTOTRACCIA are powered by Mr.Lawrence.
