The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi is hosting a public talk “Togetherness” as part of the Pavilion of the Holy See at the Biennale Arte 2024, aimed at exploring the exhibition project curated by Bruno Racine and Chiara Parisi. Hosted in the spaces of the Women’s Prison in Venice on Giudecca, the Pavilion represents an unprecedented and original project in which international artists are invited to realise an intervention starting from the context and with the active involvement of the prisoners, contributing to the construction of an artistic community that challenges conventions through art, poetry, humanity and care.
The talk at the Teatrino, moderated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and attended by His Eminence Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, features artists Claire Fontaine (Fulvia Carnevale and James Thornhill), Claire Tabouret, Sonia Gomes and artist and writer simone fattal (remotely), the curators of corita kent Centre and the pavilion curators Bruno Racine and Chiara Parisi.
